Matcha Roll Cake and Matcha Latte

MATCHA ROLL CAKE

(26cm square baking tray).

 

INGREDIENTS:

4 egg yolk

4 egg white

80 g castor sugar

45 g wheat flour

40 g non salted butter, melted

5 g matcha powder

 

CREAM

5 – 6 strawberry

200 ml fresh cream

15 g sugar

 

METHOD:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 Degree Celcius.

2. Shift the matcha powder and wheat flour.

3. Add 40 g of sugar each to egg yolk and egg white little by little and form it well. Add formed egg yolk to formed egg white.

4. Add 2) and butter to 3) one by one and mix it.

5. Bake for 10 minutes.

6. Add the sugar to the fresh cream and whip it. Roll the cream and the strawberries with the cake sponge.

 

 

MATCHA LATTE

(One cup or glass).

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp matcha powder, a pinch for the decoration

200 cc milk

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp hot water

 

METHOD:

1. Warm the milk and form it.

2. Mix the matcha powder and sugar and melt it with hot water.

3. Add 2) to 1) and dust the matcha powder for the decoration.
